Wildlife & fishing tour with local fisherman

If you want to do an awesome Pantanal boat tour speak with Divaldo in Porto Manga! We got there in the morning and asked for a boat tour. We combined 2 hours for 150 reais but ended up staying over 4 hours on his boat spotting wildlife and fishing. He did not asked for more money but we gave him a big tip.We saw a lot of species of fish, birds, reptiles and mammals. Divaldo took us too a lot of different places in the Pantanal. We went off his boat and walked over islands at some spots to see where capivaras sleep and bath. He also showed us where the crocodiles bath in the sun. In the end we went to two spots to try fishing. He had all the equipment and baits. At the first spot we got some small Piranhas and at the second spot a big (~4 kg) Pintado (even though our objective were piranhas too). It was easy even for whom never fished before (like me).After 4 hours on the boat we went to his house in Porto Manga and made a fish barbecue with his family. We can totally recommend his tour as a real Pantanal experience!
