The event center in Pomerode was booked with a private event so we asked for an alternative place to camp at the Tourist Information center in town and they directed to this lovely Pousada. Opened in Dec 2014, it is still quite new and the owners are very nice. There is a good-sized, level parking area with clean toilets nearby. There is also an enclosed outdoor kitchen with a single gas burner, a working sink, several tables with chairs and some hammocks. They opened a room for us so we could shower (very nice and clean facilities) and breakfast was included in our stay. Fast wifi, electricity and water available. Refreshments also on offer. There is a small grassy area where tenters might be allowed to set up (but we forgot to ask). We paid R$40 per adult to camp (no charge our 6 yo son). Very quiet. Highly recommended!
