No many possibilities of accomodation in Ruropolis. Droving in the city we've seen 1 pousada and a very small hotel with very sad looking. The only "real" one is Hotel Pires, close to the bus station. Good just for sleeping after 11 hours fighting with the transamazonian BR230.We choose dry season to avoid problems of mud but today it rained and we had bloody mud for about 200 km of tracks.So welcome to hotel Pires. Prixe : 85 BRL for a double, breakfast, secure parking and wi fi. We don't really think that it would have been a good plan to camp in the car in this town: too hot, too many mosquitos, too much mud and too many sad people.
